We do not look at the things which are seen but the things which are not seen.

A Photographed Dress- Negative Space

Space alone does not make space. There needs to be something substantial for this space to become space. It is the physicality of material that helps to establish the space that has always been there.

Idea behind 4 week project. No collated research and no sketching. Producing everything through taking pictures.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

— William Butler Yeats The Second Coming
